THE VILLAGE OF GINESTAS

Ginestas is a quiet and pleasant village, built in old stones, where pink laurels, roses, wisterias and poppies bloom in spring.  A medieval church (French Heritage) pace quietly the days of its inhabitants. The village is built against a hill where you can admire the mountain range of Montagne Noire, Minervois, Corbières and Pyrenees. At his feet extend as far as the eye can see, wine fields (controlled origin label Minervois) and olive groves (olive Lucca), on a plain crossed by the Canal du Midi and by many streams such as Cesse and Aude. In the spring, the fields are covered with poppies and the banks of the Canal with daisies.

The village is settled in a land of legends where erected dozens of feudal castles, winecastles and romanesque abbeys on steep headlands, rocked by the softness of water courses.

The beauty of this land is a magnificent spectacle that changes every season.
